Jindal Films will feature a new breakthrough Label-Lyte LH344OPP film face stock, designed for use with pressure-sensitive labels (PSL) with hot melt adhesive applications at Labelexpo from September 29 – October 2, 2015.

With more rough critical surfaces, such as tires or textiles, requiring outstanding labels, Jindal Films’ Label-Lyte technology allows for high-quality premium pressure-sensitive labeling solutions in demanding applications.

Due to their complexity, these rough surfaces require hot melt adhesive technologies. But they are known to migrate through the label, which can lead to detrimental visual impacts such as curling, swelling and yellowing. This can affect the premium feeling of the applied label. To overcome this limitation, Jindal Films’ new Label-Lyte film includes a uniquely effective barrier that prevents hot melt additives and mineral oils from migrating through the label and affecting the visual impact.

Label-Lyte LH344 enables a high yield due to the cavitation process, and is coated to allow exceptional ink adhesion with a broad range of ink systems, including UV-flexo, UV-letterpress, UV-flatbed, as well as water-based and solvent-based flexo and gravure. It is also fully compatible with hot- and cold-foil stamping systems, and is compliant to the food contact legislation.

Label-Lyte LH344 film can be used without issues with hot melt adhesives in rough critical surfaces, delivering a curl- and swell-free super white opaque labeling solution where outstanding graphics are desired.
