Clondalkin Flexible Packaging Bury, an international producer of high value-added packaging products and solutions, is pleased to announce that the trademark for the company's unique coding printing technology – UniXcode - has been confirmed.

UniXcode was developed at Clondalkin Flexible Packaging Bury (formerly Chadwicks of Bury), a leading supplier of innovative pre-cut lids and shrink sleeves. A unique code is printed on the lid or shrink sleeve and can only be revealed when the lid or sleeve is peeled back. Neither the quality of the design, or functionality of the lid or shrink sleeve is compromised, and because the ink is not printed in direct contact with the product there is no risk of product contamination.

UniXcode offers an innovative and cost-effective printing technology that can be used for various applications including competitions, traceability and counterfeiting.

"Clondalkin is committed to providing customers with innovative packaging solutions,” says John Chadwick, managing director of Clondalkin Flexible Packaging Bury. “Securing the registered trademark for UniXcode is important to us, as it provides customers with a product that can be easily recognised and distinguished from our competitors.

"It will provide customers with added value for very little extra cost. Customers are always looking for new ways to market their products and differentiate them from the competition and this new technology will enable them to do so.”
