Fortis Solutions Group has acquired Kopco Graphics and Color Craft Label.

Kopco Graphics, based in West Chester, Ohio, with an additional facility in Bradenton, Fla., is a four-time winner of TLMI’s prestigious Eugene Singer Award recognizing excellence in business management. Kopco provides a wide range of products, including pressure-sensitive labels, flexible packaging, instant redeemable coupons, and promotional labels.

Color Craft Label, founded in 1964 and based in Memphis, Tenn., provides customized pressure-sensitive labeling solutions to customers across a broad array of industries. The company will be combined into Fortis’ existing Memphis location. Color Craft Flexible Packaging is not part of the transaction.

“We are excited to acquire these two industry-leading companies which will further propel the opportunities we have to serve both our existing and prospective clients,” says John O. Wynne, Jr., Fortis president and CEO. “It is a transformational day for the company and we are delighted to welcome the Kopco and Color Craft employees to the Fortis organization.”

Adds Kopco Graphics owner Doug Kopp: “After 26 years of guiding Kopco Graphics, I felt the time was right for me to step aside and set the company on a new course. I am pleased that Kopco is now part of Fortis Solutions Group. With the increased manufacturing capabilities provided, it will be exciting to see Fortis become a major force in the world of labels and flexible packaging.”

States Color Craft Label president David Seuss: “Color Craft Label Company is enthused to become part of such a vibrant, growing and innovative business. We are excited for the many new product offerings that Fortis’ extensive manufacturing capabilities will provide our clients. We are collectively looking forward to a bright future under the guidance of the Fortis Solutions Group.”
