Daetwyler has experienced continuous growth and announces promotions within its cleaning equipment group.

John Faulkner has been named sales manager of cleaning technologies and Shawn Tiikkala has been named sales engineer of cleaning technologies / DISTI Cleaning Technologies.

Faulkner will be responsible for development and growth of Daetwyler cleaning and solvent recovery equipment sales as related to both Daetwyler press room and DISTI coatings group. He is in charge of both sales and service related functions and overall profitability of the group.

Promoted from the technical support group, Tiikkala will take an active role with customer development ensuing both DISTI coatings equipment solutions, in addition to support needs of our core printing press customers.

“Having a direct customer sales related position is exciting for me,” says Tiikkala. “For the past four or five years I have learned from field related technical experiences what customer concerns need be addressed and from a sales perspective will apply this knowledge to address our customer’s needs with the highest equipment value.”
