Davis-Standard is pleased to announce two key appointments to its leadership team for the ASEAN region. Tee Guan Huat has been appointed sales director of Davis-Standard Converting Systems. Guan Huat will be responsible for sales efforts of all converting systems platforms to ASEAN nations, specifically cast film, liquid coatings, extrusion coatings and blown film. He will be based out of Davis-Standard’s office in Malaysia. Tee brings more than 15 years of industry experience to his new post, most recently with Cloeren and SML.
Adrian Gomez, who is currently serving as Davis-Standard’s ASEAN business development manager in Malaysia, will focus his efforts on sales of Davis-Standard’s extrusion systems, namely for applications in pipe and profile, medical tubing, foam and sheet. Gomez joined Davis-Standard’s operation in Malaysia in 2012, and offers extensive experience in pipe coatings and extruded sheet manufacturing.
