Clondalkin Group has appointed Rienk Jan van der Kooi as managing director of its engineered films business unit in the Netherlands, within the group's flexible packaging division.
Rienk Jan has been with Clondalkin since August 2010 and has led Clondalkin Flexible Packaging Grootegast over the past two years. Rienk Jan will be focused on maintaining the business growth in existing and new markets at the division's facilities in Harlingen and Wieringerwerf, in addition to building closer working links with Grootegast. Rienk Jan will continue to have ongoing responsibility for Grootegast.
Prior to joining Clondalkin Group, Rienk Jan worked for more than 10 years in the paper and board business where, on an international level, he served in several senior management positions.
