New Professional Training in Laminating at Tech Center
The course participants, from nine different countries, have chosen the center as a reference for broadening their technical know-how in the flexible packaging industry

The Manel Xifra Boada Technological Center, part of Comexi Group, has organized two new training sessions aimed at professionals in the flexible packaging conversion sector.
Throughout the month of September, the center’s industrial laboratory ran the practical maintenance course and advanced sessions in laminating, with a good rating by the course participants, who particularly highlighted the program contents and the quality of the practical sessions. A total of 20 professionals from 9 different countries have chosen the Manel Xifra Boada Technological Centre as a reference for broadening their technical know-how in laminating and machine maintenance.
Practical Maintenance Course in Russian
For the second time so far in 2014, the technological center has programmed a course entirely in Russian, in response to the demands from this potential market in the flexible packaging industry. The course was held from Sept. 16-19 and was attended by 10 operators and heads of maintenance in companies located in Russia and Poland. Once again, the target was to train the participants in preparing and implementing an effective maintenance program for flexography, laminating and slitting machinery.
Broadening Laminating Know-how
One week later it was the turn of the advanced lamination sessions. A new edition – that is the fifth overall – focused on the usual laminating processes and their main elements (material, adhesive and machinery). Over three days, the participants, from Poland, Israel, Hungary, Italy, Great Britain, Slovenia and Spain broadened their knowledge in this field to optimize the productive performance of their laminating machinery.
