American Roller and Plasma Coatings Co. has invested in a state of the art Danobat CNC Cylindrical Grinder for the new manufacturing facility being built in Union Grove, Wis. The introduction of this modern piece of equipment will provide the highest level of grinding tolerance capabilities, while ensuring plant quality and thru put expectations. This also improves the company’s competitive edge by allowing expansion, in both volume and accuracy, of tight tolerance grinding capabilities.

“This is a significant investment for our new Union Grove factory. Our primary and secondary grinders have been in service for years, operating at a minimum of two shifts daily, often running three shifts. With our customer’s increasing tolerance specifications, the purchase of this grinder allows us to remain capable of meeting our customer requirements,” says Randy Mittelstaedt, operations manager of Coatings Group.

The advantages of this new machine are remarkable, allowing for multiple programming capabilities, tighter tolerances, and higher quality. The target is to purchase and install this grinder by October 2014 as one of the first pieces of equipment in the new facility. This and other new equipment total over $1.4 million in capital investments within the $4.5 million new facility.
