The Flexible Packaging Association is accepting entries for the 2015 FPA Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards competition. This annual competition honors industry advancements in innovation and technology in flexible packaging that are meeting the challenges of today and delivering flexible packaging solutions for a multitude of products. 

The entry deadline is Monday, November 10, 2014. The official Call for Entries brochure is available on the association website, www.flexpack.org and provides details of the competition rules, entry instructions, and fees. The competition is open to all flexible packaging converters and suppliers (FPA members and non members). Flexible packaging suppliers that have contributed to a package and have received approval from the converter may enter jointly with, or on behalf of, the converter. 

Winning entries of the 59th annual Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards competition will be announced on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 during the 2015 FPA Annual Meeting (March 3-5, 2015) at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort in Naples, Florida. Competition entries will be judged by a panel of industry experts who will select packages to receive Gold and Silver awards in four categories including Packaging Excellence, Printing Achievement, Technical Innovation, and Sustainability & Environmental Achievement. The Flexible Packaging Highest Achievement Award will be presented to a Gold award winning package(s) ranked by the judges as having contributed most to the advancement of the industry.

All competition entries and winning packages are featured in the FPA Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards & Innovation Showcase, which includes photos of submitted packages, package descriptions, details about package manufacturers, end-users/customers, designers, and key suppliers. Winning entries are also included in several industry trade publications including Flexible Packaging Magazine, Packaging Digest and Packaging World.
