ISO Poly Films – a Sigma Plastics Group company and one of the leading multi-layer plastic film extruders – announces that it has appointed David McKinney as the company’s president and chief operations officer.
McKinney brings extensive leadership and effective operations skills gained from his 30 years in the packaging and plastics manufacturing industry.
“David is a proven leader, and I am personally very excited and pleased to have him join the management team at ISO Poly,” says Alfred Teo, CEO of the Sigma Plastics Group. “ISO Poly Films continues on an aggressive growth path, and David has the right skills and business acumen to lead these efforts moving forward.”
McKinney has been with ISO Poly Films since 2012 serving as the company’s VP of operations. During that time, he worked closely with the executive team and gradually took on full responsibilities for all aspects of the company to assume the responsibilities of President and COO following the recent retirement of ISO Poly’s founder, Jon McClure.
Prior to joining ISO Poly, McKinney served in various managerial positions for packaging and specialty films manufacturing companies. He was instrumental in improving business processes, improving productivity and driving up sales and profits for companies including Cargo Technology and Cold Pack System, ITW Holographic & Specialty Films, Camvac – Division of Rexam, and Ludlow Laminating & Coating – a Division of Tyco.
