Roland DGA will be demonstrating innovative UV-LED digital printing technologies of the packaging industry at the EastPack 2014 Expo June 10-12 at New York’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
Visitors to the Roland’s EastPack booth #3244 will be able to get a firsthand look at the advanced Roland VersaUV LEC-330 printer/cutter, a state-of-the-art UV-LED inkjet that’s enabling packaging design firms, printers and converters to create realistic package prototypes, on actual press substrates, faster and more cost-effectively than ever before. Also on display will be Roland’s VersaUV LEF-12 flatbed printer, a device that capable of printing directly on virtually any type of substrate, including three dimensional objects, to personalize a vast array of items.
Daily demonstrations by Ryback and Ryback will give EastPack attendees a chance to see how the R & R sleeve maker and S3 steam machine work in conjunction with Roland VersaUV printers to produce high quality shrink sleeve label prototypes quickly and affordably.
“These incredible devices allow companies to create a wide variety of package prototoypes, ranging from more traditional label and folding carton short runs to flexo and shrink, within hours rather than days,” says Hiroshi Ono, Roland’s group product manager. “By quickly generating prototypes that look and feel just like the finished product, complete with unique varnish and embossing effects, these firms are able to ‘wow’ their existing customers, attract new clients and maximize revenue.”
EastPack 2014 attendees will also be able to take advantage of an added-value show special on Roland’s VersaUV series inkjets.
