LPS Industries Introduces New Ultrathin Film

LPS industries, packaging films, oxygen barrier LPS Industries has announced the availability of two new film families that the company says offers outstanding oxygen barrier properties, are environmentally friendly and are compliant with regulatory guidelines on a worldwide basis. One of which is an ultrathin oxygen barrier coating made of nanoparticles that can be effectively applied to various substrates. The nanoparticle-based film, which has a coating that is only a fraction of a micron thick, offers supreme oxygen and moisture-barrier properties, company officials say. This new film option will provide significant competitive, environmental and economic benefits to manufacturers in the food and pet packaging industries, officials add.
