ICE USA has recently been recognized by two of the trade show industry’s leading organizations as one of North America’s fastest growing trade shows.
Expo magazine just announced its “25 Top Fast-Growth Shows of 2013” and named ICE USA 2013 as the ninth fastest-growing event in the country. The biennial ICE USA 2013 achieved a 32 percent increase in square footage, a 22 percent growth in exhibitors, and an 18 percent growth in attendees over the 2011 event.
ICE USA was the only converting/package-printing event named to the “Top 25” list and far outpaced several well-known trade and consumer events in percentage of growth. The industry-leading converting event will be honored in a gala awards ceremony during the ExpoNext Conference in Baltimore in June.
In related news, ICE USA was also just named one of the “2013 Top 250 US Trade Shows” by Trade Show Network News. No other converting Show made the list and ICE USA 2013 shares the honor with such major events as the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the International Home + Housewares Show and the National Restaurant Association Show.
TSNN had previously honored ICE USA 2011 as part of its “2011 Best of Show” award based on several criteria including innovation, creativity and results.
“We are very honored to be recognized by these two leading organizations as one of the fastest growing and best trade shows in the country,” said Bob Chiricosta, ICE USA Exhibition Director. “However, we realize that our true success is based on continually meeting the needs of the converting/package-printing, paper, film, foil and nonwoven industry”.
Chiricosta said the 2015 ICE USA is already on a record-setting pace. “We are adding some exciting new enhancements and expect the 2015 Show to be larger and provide a platform for converters and equipment suppliers to exchange ideas and solutions.”
As the largest converting exhibition and conference in North America, ICE USA 2013 attracted more than 350 exhibitors and several thousand converting professionals from 44 countries.
