DCM Introduces Solventless Lamination Machinery

Bobst tandem extrusion coating line First shown at the K 2014 exhibition in Dusseldorf last October, DCM’s latest evolution in solventless lamination, the Laminastar 4, has been welcomed by flexible packaging converters worldwide. The Laminastar 4 has many advancements to assist the operator in perfect lamination. Its patented operation allows the operator to adjust the solvent weight, accurately and repeatedly, without the need to adjust the mechanical gap or recalibrate for cylinder roll regrinds. It has a true sleeve-type adhesive transfer cylinder for quick coating width changes. The machine comes standard in widths of 870, 1070 and 1370 mm.
