Uteco Launches New Coating and Laminating Machine

2The new Horizon coating/laminating machine by Uteco is equipped with a rotogravure coating unit with chamber doctor blade, to reduce the amount of glue in recirculation and to avoid the presence of foam in the adhesive pan. Features of the machine include: easy cleaning of the anilox roll; glue in-feed unit and automatic washing system; smoothing bar driven by an AC motor controlled by inverter, preventing eventual bouncing due to water-based laminating; drying tunnel with stainless steel hoods; supply fan and exhaust fan; oil heater with thermoregulator; motorized air recirculation system for energy saving; laminating unit with thermoregulation; automatic unwinder for secondary material; and touch screen HMI control panel.
