Precision Color Graphics, an industry leading pre-press, printing and packaging company, announces its plans to open Specialty Packaging Technologies, Inc. under the leadership of Tony Cherot as president, and Jane Dirr as vice president of business development.

Specialty Packaging Technologies is a leading flexible packaging manufacturer focused on customized premade pouches, including spouted pouches, offering advantages in shelf appeal, consumer convenience, brand recognition, economical price points and eco-friendly options. The company says its fully customized pouches provide distinction, style, convenience and added functionality to suit an ever-increasing array of product applications targeting a variety of markets including, but not limited to, consumer product goods, retail food and beverage, personal care and HBAproducts, pet products, and medical applications. Utilizing the latest innovations and technologies in specialized pouch production equipment, all production will be handled in-house for quick turnaround and orders of every size.

“Establishing Specialty Packaging Technologies and vertically integrating into pouch and bag making was a natural progression for  Precision Color Graphics,” says John Goeden, president of Precision Color Graphics. “We continuously focus on the needs of our clients and see this as a positive enhancement to our current business.  We’re very excited to have an executive team with over 60 years of experience at the helm in Tony and Jane.”

Flexible packaging pioneers, Tony Cherot and Jane Dirr, will be leading Specialty Packaging Technologies’ executive management team, along with a strong sales force and other key operational support and marketing team members, bringing a combined experience of nearly 100 years.

“We are thrilled about this opportunity to join the Precision Color Graphics, Ltd. organization. With our team’s past experience and our loyal customer base, combined with our parent company’s established customers, we have a distinct advantage in that we are not a start-up operation,” says Cherot. “Add to this our long-standing relationship and support from our primary equipment supplier, Karlville Development Group, we are already quickly becoming a key player in the flexible packaging industry.”
