With more than 1,750 exhibitors and over 26,000 attendees, PACK EXPO Las Vegas (Sept. 23–25, 2013; Las Vegas Convention Center) will be bustling. To make the process of discovering innovation and market insight convenient for attendees, two PACK EXPO Resource Centers will be available on the show floor.

Located in the Central Lobby and the Lower South Lobby, each PACK EXPO Resource Center will feature interactive digital product locators and monitors streaming video highlights and previews of the day’s activities and key technologies. Subject matter experts – including past presidents of PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, owner of the PACK EXPO shows – will also be stationed in the PACK EXPO Resource Centers to provide one-on-one assistance to professionals looking to source solutions on the show floor.

Attendees vising the Resource Centers will find a running schedule of educational sessions offered at the show’s three Innovation Stage locations (Booths C-141, C-142, C-143). These central locations can also serve as meeting points for attendee buying teams to map efficient plans for seeing exhibitors, educational presentations and other show features.

“PACK EXPO’s show floor is the largest one-stop-shop for packaging and processing technologies in North America this year,” says Charles D. Yuska, president and CEO of PMMI. “But we know from our attendees that navigating through so many solutions can be a challenge for time-strapped manufacturing professionals, so we created the PACK EXPO Resource Centers to be helpful guideposts and help attendees maximize their time at the show.”

For attendees looking to stay on top of the latest industry buzz, the PACK EXPO Resource Centers will also feature a screen with streaming Twitter feeds covering all of the must-see show news. A PACK EXPO photo booth will also be stationed at Central Lobby Resource Center for attendees looking for a fun souvenir of their visit, and photographers and videographers will circulate throughout the show, capturing feedback and insights from attendees and exhibitors and projecting the conversations on monitors stationed throughout the show.

Attendees can also get an early start in planning their show itinerary – or plan on-the-go – with the PACK EXPO mobile app, available for download on iPhone, iPad and Android.
