Consolidated Label Co., a U.S. manufacturer of custom labels, is participating in various efforts to support Breast Cancer Awareness during the month of October. The company will actively be encouraging its customers and employees to get involved with its “pink” events throughout the month. Starting on the first and ending October 31, Consolidated Label will donate $1 for every $100 in orders placed by first time customer accounts. All proceeds will go towards the National Breast Cancer Foundation for research, mammogram screenings and educational programs.

“Family is important to Consolidated Label, and our employees’ stories of loved ones being affected by breast cancer moved us to get involved by increasing awareness and supporting the fight against this disease,” says Joel Carmany, president of Consolidated Label.

Consolidated Label employees will be participating in company events in a couple different ways. On October 19, an all-employee team will join the American Cancer Society in their Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in Orlando, Fla. to raise additional donation funds. The Consolidated team will have special T-shirts to show solidarity and support for the cause. In addition, every Friday throughout October, employees will wear pink to raise awareness about the company’s support for the local community.

The company will also recognize customers who have printed special labels for breast cancer awareness by featuring the customer and label on its blog and social media outlets throughout October. Customers should submit their labels to social@consolidatedlabel.com before the last week of October to be featured.
