Polymer Packaging Inc. announces the promotions of William D. Lanham II as president and Chris Thomazin as vice president of operations.

Having served as executive vice president for PPI the past 15 years, Lanham provides over 30 years of flexible packaging experience across a broad range of products. Bill was instrumental in positioning PPI as one of the premier innovators in Inno-Lok Pre-Applied Zipper converting as well as single serve beverage pouching.  Under his leadership, PPI developed multiple strategic supply alliances both domestically and internationally.

“Bill has been the face of Polymer Packaging for many years and has made a tremendous contribution to the growth and directions of the company.  His proven leadership and impressive record of success will lead PPI to its next level of growth,” says Larry Lanham, founder of PPI.

He directed and managed the addition of several new production lines for Nishibe high speed pouch machines designed specifically for liquid and beverage stand-up pouches. Under Chris’ leadership, Polymer Packaging achieved a 99.999 percent defect-free rating for its Inno-Lok pre-zippered film conversion and 100 percent defect-free rating in the pouch converting area while maintaining a scrap level of less than 1.5 percent.
