Agency doesn't take action on the chemical's use in food cans
The Food and Drug Administration has prohibited the use of bisphenol-A (BPA) in baby formula packaging. The chemical was phased out from the manufacturing of baby bottles and cups for infants and toddlers, due to increasing public concerns over BPA in recent years. View the full press release here.
