Sealed Air Corp. announces the appointment of Dr. Robert (Bob) Tatterson as vice president and chief technology officer. Dr. Tatterson will be responsible for technology strategy and innovation focused on driving growth.

Peribere, president and chief executive officer of Sealed Air. “This includes increasing revenue of new solutions through our SmartLife® initiative which is designed to advance the environmental sustainability goals of our customers.”
Dr. Tatterson’s career includes a successful track record of innovation and development of advanced materials and industrial products. He joins Sealed Air from Brady Corporation where he was corporate vice president of R&D and chief technology officer. At Brady, a publicly traded diverse industrial products company, Dr. Tatterson was responsible for driving growth through new product and process innovations across all business units. During his time at Brady, he reduced go-to-market cycle time for new products while also reducing quality issues significantly. Previously, Dr. Tatterson held a variety of leadership and technical roles with GE Corporate Research and GE Plastics including Technology General Manager for the Specialty Film and Sheet business and Six Sigma Master Black Belt.
Tatterson holds a Ph.D. and M.S., Chemical Engineering from The University of Michigan and a B.S., Chemical Engineering from Ohio State University.
