People Against Dirty, the makers of Method cleaning products, is the latest brand to join the growing How2Recycle® program. Method customers will soon see the recycling label on a new stand-up pouch that is recyclable at store drop-off.

The new line of Method dishwasher detergent packs will use Amcor Flexibles (amcor.com) mono-material recyclable pouch solution that is a groundbreaking innovation in flexible packaging because it contains 20% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic and is recyclable at Store Drop-off with other plastic bags, films, and wraps.

"We are delighted to help Method reach their sustainability goals through packaging innovation,” says Brian Ingraham, product development manager for Amcor Flexibles North America. “The PCR recyclable pouch is a great example of sustainability-driven collaboration that adds value to the Method brand, the consumers, and the environment as a whole."

“People Against Dirty further propels its sustainability initiatives by joining How2Recycle. Their consumers will now be empowered to know exactly how to properly prepare their packaging for recycling just by looking at the package,” says Caroline Cox, project associate, Sustainable Packaging Coalition.
