The Flexible Packaging Association has named Alison Keane, Esq., as its new president and CEO. Keane previously served as the VP for government affairs and industry programs with the American Coatings Association, where she was responsible for advocacy on behalf of the paint and coating industry in the U.S.
“We are extremely excited to have Alison join our organization. Her vast experience working closely with association members in many areas including environmental issues and government relations will be key to the continued success of the FPA,” says Stan Bikulege, chairman and CEO of NOVOLEX and FPA chairman of the board. “We want to thank retiring president and CEO, Marla Donahue, for the leadership she has given the FPA over the past 16 years.”
Keane will provide strategic leadership and advocacy to advance and grow the flexible packaging industry.
An environmental attorney, with 20 years of experience in the association and government sectors, Keane has also served at the Environmental Protection Agency and the Maryland State Senate. She has a B.A. in biology from St. Mary’s College of Maryland and a J.D. from Golden Gate University in San Francisco. She is admitted to the practice of law in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
