Charter NEX Films, North America’s leading independent producer of specialty films, proudly announces it has joined the Alliance to End Plastic Waste (AEPW) − a growing global network focused on ending plastic waste in the environment.

In 2019, Charter NEX achieved the milestone of diverting more than a million pounds of waste to landfill and plans to increase the number of its ‘Zero Waste to Landfill’ sites in 2020 in addition to launching several new recyclable film technologies

Launched in January 2019, AEPW brings together organizations that make, use, process, sell, collect, and recycle plastics in order to tackle the complex challenge of plastics waste from all angles. To date, member companies have committed more than $1 billion with the goal of investing over $1.5 billion in education, infrastructure and clean-up efforts over the next five years.
