Flexo Concepts has added Arnoud de Jong to its international business development team.
As an international business development manager, de Jong will be responsible for growing and serving the company’s TruPoint doctor blade business in northern Europe. He will be based in his home country, the Netherlands.
De Jong brings a wide range of strategic capabilities to his new role — a good sense for the European flexo industry, a strong marketing background and proficient language skills in Dutch, English and German.
The international sales team includes two other business development managers — Bernat Ferrete is based in Spain and is responsible for southern Europe, as well as the LATAM and EMEA regions, and Steve Kao covers Asia from his office in Taiwan.
“We recognize the importance of having people in the field who understand the regional markets,” said Kevin McLaughlin, Flexo Concepts’ CEO. “By having employees who speak the native languages and are intimately familiar with local cultures and business practices, we are better equipped to meet the needs of the industry.”
De Jong has acquired over 20 years’ experience in the flexo printing industry during his career. Most recently, he served as general manager of the consumables division at another industry supplier in Europe. Before that, ascended the ranks at tesa, a leading manufacturer of pressure sensitive adhesives for the paper and print market.
De Jong hails from the Holland region of the Netherlands, where he lives with his wife and two daughters.
