IIMAK will introduce iiColor Match for thermal transfer ribbons (TTR) at Booth 535 during Labelexpo Americas, set for Sept. 25-27 in Rosemont, Illinois. 

 

This new service innovation enables label converters to supply brand owners with thermal transfer ribbons in any exact color match. Key to this program is fast turnaround and low minimum orders — all provided as a free service without development charges. iiColor Match is also a solution for brand owners requiring smaller, even micro-sized, label runs while still maintaining brand integrity and corporate colors. 

 

“Color thermal transfer provides an option to end users for printing short-run color labels with existing equipment,” says Amy Schmitt, IIMAK director of marketing. “This exclusive color matching service opens new doors for our reseller partners to add value and provide labeling solutions for personalization, customization, and branding.”

 

IIMAK will provide the color match proof in three weeks, and minimum order quantities start at eight cases. iiColor Match complements IIMAK’s standard TTR range of 50 colors and is available on wax, wax/resin and resin formulations. A new Color Sales Guide helps resellers identify applications and select the correct ribbon based on substrate and durability requirements.

 

Color TTR is adaptable across a variety of label stocks and levels of image durability. Generic pre-printed labels can be customized utilizing existing thermal transfer printers without the need for hardware investment. IIMAK also offers color TTR for multi-head printers that yield two or four color labels in one pass. Industries utilizing color TTR today include medical, nutraceutical, durables, chemical and food.
