Expanding its ability to serve the Mexican marketplace, Flair Flexible Packaging has opened a new facility in El Zapote, Jalisco, Mexico.

The newly-constructed facility will provide full converting and quality assurance, material management and logistic services, customer support and sales functions to manufacturers throughout Mexico. With more than 33,000 square feet, the site features office areas, warehousing space and two production areas to accommodate current pouch making and film slitting operations while providing space for future expansion.

“Our new site provides local service and operational support increasing the availability of a variety of flexible packaging materials to our customers throughout Mexico,” says Alejandro Nigro, Flair director of Latin American sales.

Located near Guadalajara, Flair Mexico will be a central resource for Flair’s stock packaging program, which includes a variety of commonly used bags, pouches and rollstock films that can be slit to meet customers’ processing needs, in addition to Flair’s PLATiNUM forming and non-forming films, LiDynamics lidding films and FlairPak vacuum pouches. For manufacturers seeking specialized structures, design features or high quality printing, Flair Mexico provides access to Flair’s complete line of custom products, an advanced 10-color rotogravure printing process and its Brand Color Management program.

Flair Mexico is designed to complement Flair’s global manufacturing, development and design capabilities provided by facilities in the United States, Canada, South Korea and China.
