Maxcess’ Menges Roller Company division has completed a multi-million dollar expansion that doubles its manufacturing footprint while installing state-of-the-art new equipment.

“This expansion will allow us to expand our year-over-year growth, while keeping our high standing in the commercial manufacture of rollers and coverings for the converting, steel, packaging, plastics and other industrial uses of large rolls,” says Garrett Rausch, director of engineering and manufacturing, Menges Roller.

The expansion of the plant doubles its manufacturing footprint and features a new state-of-the-art lathe, which enables the company to manufacture rolls up to 58 inches in diameter and 275 inches in length with live tooling and 3-axis machining capabilities.

“We acquired Menges Roller in late 2017 to broaden our precision roll offering while complementing our sister brands of Webex and Valley Roller,” says Greg Jehlik, CEO of Maxcess. “This expansion allows us to better serve the needs of our customers, particularly those with large roll needs, in the most efficient manner possible.”
