Healthy foods and snacks is taking off, and Poland-based Sante has been setting the trends in this market since its founding in 1992. Because of the increase in consumer awareness and popularity of these foods, Sante made the decision to upgrade its packaging to better meet customer expectations. To further enhance convenience and preserve product quality, its packaging upgrade included integrating Elplast’s EL-ZIP press-to-close zippers.

“We have focused on packaging which combines quality with convenience, and will help set a new trend: health with functionality,” says Dominika Przyłęcka, Sante marketing director.

To give the consumer instinctive cues that the bag was successfully reclosed, EL-ZIP zippers were designed with audile and tactile features, or “feel and sound effects.”
