Fort Dearborn Company has completed its acquisition of NCL Graphic Specialties, Inc., the Elk Grove, Illinois-based company announced Wednesday.

Announced in December, the merger enhances Fort Dearborn’s leadership position in the decorative label and packaging marketplace by broadening the company’s geographic footprint, capacity and capabilities. It will also allow both companies provide a higher level of service to customers.

NCL has facilities in Waukesha, Wisconsin, and Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, representing a total of 17 North American production locations for the combined organization. The company’s product offerings now include cut and stack, pressure sensitive, roll-fed, shrink sleeve, stretch sleeve and promotional labels, as well as flexible packaging.

“We look forward to working with our NCL associates and together bringing new capabilities and services to our customers”, said Fort Dearborn CEO Kevin Kwilinski. “We have a heritage of growth through private and family-owned acquisitions that we look to continue to build upon and better serve the market.”
