Mark Andy will once again be showcasing its robust portfolio of technology with the European narrow-web label market at Labelexpo Europe from September 25-27 in Brussels. Its offerings will consist of updated standalone technology, new press configuration options and retrofittable enhancements.
An updated Performance Series P7 platform will be on stand in Brussels, boasting direct servo improvements, a fully automated job register and a more ergonomic design to elevate operator experience. The user-friendly model will be fitted with a solvent-free lamination system, producing food-grade flexible packaging live for booth attendees.
The show-floor Performance Series model will also be fitted with a new digital retrofit solution, reinforcing the company’s commitment to digital hybrid innovation. Digital Plus Screen, a digital screen-print alternative, gives users the ability to quickly create dimensional, highly opaque prints without the capital costs, setup constraints and extensive cleaning needed with traditional screen printing technologies. Variable Data Printing (VDP) is supported by the retrofit, lending itself to a complete transformation of job mix on full-production flexographic machinery. The Digital Plus Screen delivers high-opacity white print and the ability to personalize a product, meeting the growing market demand for customization.
This September will also mark the formal Labelexpo Europe debut of Mark Andy Digital One, an affordable, standalone digital label press. Engineered to profitably support shorter run lengths, the hybrid press is capable of digitally printing, converting and finishing in one pass. Digital One offers 4-color CMYK dry-toner process at 1,200 dpi resolution, a multi-purpose flexo station for decorative embellishment and in-line finishing.
