Mettler Toledo Product Inspection will present a comprehensive range of inspection solutions at Interpack 2017 in Dusseldorf, Germany, May 4-10. 

Systems for both food and pharmaceutical industry applications will be exhibited in Booth B55, Hall 11, and Mettler Toledo specialists will be available to explain the systems’ technology and answer questions about specific inspection needs. 

The exhibit will focus on critical areas such as brand protection, regulatory compliance, enhancing productivity and increasing operator efficiency to improve overall equipment effectiveness, protecting product quality and brand image by detecting physical contaminants and ensuring accurate package weights, complete contents and correct labeling.

In addition to individual inspection systems, the Mettler Toledo booth will also contain four operational lines: one for general food, one for dry food, one for wet food and a final line dedicated to pharmaceuticals. These lines will incorporate all four areas of product inspection technology – checkweighing, metal detection, X-ray, and vision inspection – as well as data management software that integrates inspection systems easily into existing production lines.

Developments surrounding Industry 4.0 and the internet of things have begun to create a major paradigm shift in a wide range of manufacturing industries, and Mettler Toledo Product Inspection has invested heavily in software solutions to address that change.
