Don Duncan, Ph.D., has retired as the director of research at Wikoff Color Corporation, capping 20 years of service in the printing industry.
Duncan joined Wikoff in November 1996 and took on his leadership role shortly after in 1997. During his time with Wikoff, he was responsible for the oversight of research and development of custom-formulated inks and coatings for a variety of print technologies and chemistries. Duncan holds two U.S. patents and is the author of more than 30 technical papers. In addition to sharing his wealth of knowledge with Wikoff, he contributed to several industry associations by playing an active role in RadTech, TAGA, TAPPI, ASTM, SGIA and the American Chemical Society. Duncan also served as co-chair of the Graphic Arts Focus Group (a committee within RadTech), as well as being a past president of both TAGA and RadTech.
