Polyolefin film manufacturer ITP has opened its first U.S. sales office and warehouse in Pine Brook, New Jersey, as a means of offering its area customers on-site technical assistance and safety stock.

ITP is headquartered in Bosnasco, Italy, and generates about 20 percent of its total revenue from U.S. customers. Its new North American subsidiary will become known as ITP USA, Inc.

“We made the decision to open a sales office and warehouse in Pine Brook to be closer to our U.S. customers and to explore additional opportunities in the U.S. market,” says Nicola Centonze, ITP owner. “We chose New Jersey based on its concentration of food companies, which gives us opportunities for growth.”

Founded 1972, ITP manufactures and markets a full line of gas barrier films to meet the diverse needs of the food industry. With a commitment to developing products that keep food fresh and extend the shelf life of food products, ITP’s food packaging includes sealable/resealable, easy-open, barrier, anti-fog, thermo-forming and thermo-lamination films. The company also manufactures and markets a variety of films for consumer goods packaging and industrial applications.

“We are excited about the opening of our new sales office and warehouse in Pine Brook,” says Paola Centonze, president of ITP USA, Inc. “We look forward to the opportunity to expand our presence and product offerings in the U.S. market.”

ITP currently markets its thermo-lamination films to customers in the U.S. food industry chain. The line includes a wide range of self-adhesive products and includes barrier, non-barrier and peelable thermo-lamination films. The company also markets masking films for the surface protection of consumer goods in the U.S.
