Vonco Products has announced that it has created a new division designed specifically to focus on the liquid-tight packaging market. The new division – LiquaLoc Flexibles – was unveiled at PACK EXPO in Chicago.
The company created LiquaLoc as a way to bring its liquid-tight packaging experience, proprietary processes and manufacturing expertise to a broader audience.
“Flexible packaging offers unmatched versatility for package design and performance, and we have extensive experience in developing unique flexible packaging solutions,” says Tim Morgan, partner and vice president of sales and marketing at Vonco Products. “With the launch of LiquaLoc Flexibles, we’ve got an important opportunity to focus on this rapidly evolving market segment and leverage our engineering and material knowledge to help our customers gain a competitive edge with their packaging.”
The launch of LiquaLoc Flexibles also kicked off a series of capital investments designed to expand Vonco’s capabilities and capacity in the liquid-tight packaging market. To enhance current production, a custom-built, environmentally controlled room has been constructed inside the Lake Villa, Illinois, facility to house a new, state-of-the-art high-speed pouch manufacturing line.
In addition, a ceremony attended by Wisconsin Lt. Gov.Rebecca Kleefisch was held on Oct. 27 in Salem, Wisconsin, to celebrate breaking ground on a brand new facility that will be the home of Vonco Products and its LiquaLoc division in 2017.
