KM Packaging Services will debut two new innovative product ranges to the North American market at PACK EXPO, which takes place Nov. 6-9 in Chicago.

The packaging and lidding company will exhibit from booth 4033 in the south hall and will unveil its range of skin films – aka Vacuum Skin Films – as well as its range of standup or side-sealed pouches for liquids, powders and solids.

“KM has established strong customer relationships with a number of North American food processing companies based on our innovative lidding films and our versatile confectionery packaging solutions,” says Mark Vernon, KM Packaging’s business unit director. “We’re delighted to launch our new K Skin and K Pouch packaging ranges to the North American market at PACK EXPO. (We’re) confident that these products will enable food processors to provide new and effective solutions to their customers that improve visibility, presentation, shelf life and eco-credentials in one fell swoop.”

KM Packaging’s newly launched K Skin range improves product presentation and reduces environmental impact through lower pack weight. It also reduces waste throughout the supply chain due to its seal integrity and features an easy-peel opening. The films are ideal for a wide range of applications and can be sealed to mono-APET, mono-PP and PE-lined trays.

The company’s recently extended selection of K Pouch premade, standup pouches and three-sided sealed flat bags are suitable for a wide range of hot- and cold-fill food applications processed for the ambient, chilled or frozen supply chain in a selection of sizes from 5 milliliters to 5 liters. They’re also ideal for microwave and ovenable solutions.
