Gary White, plant manager and gravure sales manager at Pamarco, was honored with the Industry Leaders Award from the Gravure Association of the Americas’ Gravure Cylinders Society.

Each year, the society nominates industry leaders who have rendered outstanding or extraordinary contributions to the gravure industry.

“Gary is highly respected among his peers and provides consultative services to many of our customers,” says John Burgess, president of Pamarco’s flexo division. “Pamarco is committed to the gravure industry and the caliber of our employees continues to demonstrate that.”

White works out of the company’s Palmyra, New Jersey, facility, which specializes in large-format electronic engravings, specialty coating engravings and CO2 laser engravings. He joined Pamarco in 2010 after serving as interim technical manager for the GAA for two years.

Since joining the Pamarco team, White has served as a Golden Cylinder judge, a participant in panel discussions at technical conferences and has written several articles for Gravure Magazine.

The Gravure Cylinder Society was established to honor industry leaders like White, and to pay respect and offer appreciation to others like him whose vision, dedication and perseverance have been responsible for the growth of gravure from an accomplished and well-practiced craft to an international industry of printing, publication, packaging, converting, specialty and gravure material and equipment firms.
