Bobst will present an advanced range of technology and process solutions in printing and converting for the global label industry at Labelexpo Americas from September 13-15 in Rosemont, Illinois. The company will also showcase its range of services designed to help users achieve optimum production levels, expand capacity and succeed in existing, or new, markets.

As part of its presentation at Labelexpo, Bobst will showcase the digital flexo process on its M6 mid-web inline UV flexo press. The advantages of digital flexo are unique in making the press operation fast, flexible and reliable, allied with a consistently superior quality of the output and the lowest total cost of ownership. Using low-migration UV curable inks and digital flexo automation, Bobst has developed solutions that offer setup times comparable to digital printing. Thanks to a fully digitized press operation, the machine is able to run non-stop, affording on-the-fly job changes, creating less than 10 meters of substrate waste and taking only one minute in setup time.

The technology runs conforming to the 7-color extended gamut technology promoted by the REVO Team of leading industry partners and boosts the advantages of a production-driven, repeatable and controllable digital process. ECG is one of several technologies, including digital press automation and standardization of the technology chain, that are the focus of the methodology being developed by the REVO team partners to make available to flexo label and packaging converters.

Visitors to the stand will also be introduced to the very wide and comprehensive range of solutions Bobst offers in the different segments of the label industry. These include the new MW 85F CI flexo press, the CL 750D compact laminator and silicone and adhesive coating solutions and vacuum metallizing solutions for the label stock industry.
